Founded by Dr Spario Soon (1997 NTU Teacher of the Year Recipient) & co-managed by a leading group of Mathematics educationists, Learning InterActive has gained trusted recognition as a leading consultancy of Mathematics for all academic levels.
Our centre specialises in Mathematics teaching and learning across various levels from
primary to tertiary. We conduct lessons for school mathematics, mathematics enrichment or
mathematics olympiad. Our lessons cater to slower learners or challenging gifted students.
At our centre, the abilities and learning styles of the learners are assessed to identify their
strengths and weakness so that personalised instructions could be provided. Teaching
methods and materials are adapted and a variety of instructional strategies are used to
engage learners with different learning preferences. Conceptual understanding is
emphasised and different mathematical ideas are connected to foster a deeper
understanding. The level of difficulty of the mathematics problems is being gradually
increased as learners progress and guidance and support are provided as the learners work
through problems independently. At times, interactive activities, games, and puzzles are
incorporated to make the learning experience more enjoyable and interactive.
